Cancer

A list of diseases that form a group of cells that display an uncontrollably growth. There are many different types of cancer. Cancer may also cause intrusion on and destruction of adjacent tissues and it can sometimes spread to other locations in ones body through their blood. The three symptoms that standout most and differentiate cancer from tumors is the uncontrolled growth, invasion on tissues and the spread across the body through their blood. Majority of cancers create a small lump which eventually grows into a tumor except for leukemia (cancer of the blood). The affects of cancers hit all age groups but go up in risk for those of higher age and on average causes about 12-15% of all human deaths. Cancer is caused by abnormalities in the genetic material of transformed cells. Some major affects toward these abnormalities are due to the use of carcinogens like radiation, tobacco smoke, infectious agents and chemicals. There are also cases of random abnormalities in ones DNA such as replication which is then present in all cells from birth. Cancer is usually affected by complex interaction’s of carcinogens and the patients body.
